I have spent the last three days brainstorming names for my startup, but every single idea I come up with is already taken. It feels like all the good words are parked by investors or used by inactive sites. I am starting to get really discouraged because I cannot even start building my brand without a proper web address. Is there a better way to brainstorm or a tool that actually shows what is left? I feel like I am just hitting a brick wall every time I try to register something.

I started using a dedicated domain search to get more creative with different extensions and variations. It really opened up my options when I realized I did not have to stick to just one specific suffix for my brand. Don't let the initial rejection stop your creative flow. It might be worth trying a few different keyword combinations to see what pops up.
